Each year a group leaves from There Is Hope to work in Romania. In the past several years, these short-term mission trips have had a tremendous impact on the lives of team members and the Romanian people we served.

For anyone interested in joining us in this work, understand that while the work is difficult and a 13 hour day is practically the norm, the reward is so mcuch greater.  Trip cost are typically around $3,000 and include everything except souvenirs.  Many team members reach out to family, friends and their local churches to solicit financial support to help defray this cost.

Trips are generally taken in the summer months with teams leaving as early as late May or as late as mid July. Typically, teams are gone for 13 days with 8 of those days actually on site in Bistrita. On the return trip, we typically use one day to begin to recuperate before we head home. These R&R days have been a tradition through the years and we have toured Budapest, Vienna, and Rudesheim among others.
